BRUSHABLE TIN CURE SILICONE · SHORE A 20–35

TCS Brush Series for Large and Vertical Master Models

Four high-viscosity tin-cure silicone grades designed for controlled layer application on large, vertical and irregular surfaces without adding a separate thickener.

Built for the Right Mold Geometry

Large sculptures, statues, vertical masters, architectural details and irregular surfaces where a poured block mold would use excess material.

Controlled Application

High viscosity helps the material stay on vertical and contoured surfaces.

Lower Material Use

Build the mold in layers instead of filling a large mold box with silicone.

No Added Thickener

Brushable consistency is built into the series for a simpler preparation workflow.

How to Choose a Starting Grade

Select by mold geometry and support requirement first. Validate performance with a sample before full production.

Grade RangeRecommended Starting Direction
TCS-B20More flexible brush-on skins for detailed or more complex master geometry.
TCS-B25–TCS-B30Balanced brushability, flexibility and support for general sculpture and architectural work.
TCS-B35Firmer brush-on molds where stronger shape retention is required.

Simple Processing Workflow

  1. Prepare: Clean and secure the master; apply a compatible release agent when required.
  2. Weigh: Measure base and catalyst by weight according to the current TDS.
  3. Mix: Blend thoroughly, scraping the sides and bottom of the container.
  4. Apply: Pour or brush according to the selected series and mold design.
  5. Cure: Leave undisturbed under the recommended conditions, then demold carefully.

TCS Brush Series FAQs

TCS Brush has a higher viscosity so it can be applied in controlled layers to vertical or irregular masters. Pourable grades are designed to flow into a mold box.

The series is formulated for brush application without an additional thickener. Confirm the desired build and application method with a sample trial.

Large or flexible brush-on molds commonly use a rigid support shell to maintain shape. The shell design depends on mold size, geometry and casting process.
