PLATINUM CURE SILICONE RUBBER

Choose the Right Platinum Cure Silicone

Low-shrinkage addition-cure silicone for precision molds, fine detail reproduction and stable production. Start with translucent or transparent, then select softness, support or cure speed.

TWO PRODUCT FAMILIES

Select the Appearance You Need

Appearance is the simplest first decision. Performance options such as hardness and cure speed sit within these two families.

01 / TRANSLUCENT

Translucent Platinum Silicone

Versatile 1:1 silicone systems for precision molds, prototypes and repeated casting. Choose by the flexibility, support and processing speed your mold requires.

  • Shore A 0-60 across the complete family
  • Soft, general-purpose and firm options
  • Fast-cure option for short production cycles
02 / TRANSPARENT

Transparent Platinum Silicone

High-clarity 10:1 silicone for processes where seeing through the mold improves control, positioning or cutting accuracy.

  • Shore A 10-60 range
  • Transparent cut-block and vacuum-casting molds
  • Visual inspection and accurate part positioning

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Platinum Silicone Selection FAQs

Fast Cure belongs under Translucent Platinum Silicone. It is a speed-focused 1:1 series, not a separate appearance family. Use ACS-F when rapid mold turnaround is more important than long working time.

Choose the ACS-R 10:1 series when the process benefits from seeing the master or casting through the mold, including cut-block molds, vacuum casting and accurate part positioning.

Start with the required appearance, mold geometry, hardness and working time. Then compare the relevant grades in the current TDS or contact CREKEM for a recommendation.

Sulfur-containing clays, amines, tin compounds, certain latex materials, some resins and contaminated tools may inhibit cure. Keep equipment separate from tin-cure silicone and run a compatibility test before production.
