A Step-by-Step Guide of Dental Silicone Impression Material Putty Kit :
Prepare the Trays: Stand in front of a mirror to help align the tray with your teeth.
Open the Putty: Ensure clean hands before handling the white and colored putty to avoid contamination.
Mix the Putty: Knead both putties together until they form a uniform color, completing this step within 45 seconds.
Load the Tray: Shape the mixed putty into a log, evenly spreading it in the tray from edge to edge within 90 seconds.
Make the dental Impression: Place the tray over your upper teeth, pressing gently. Let it sit for 3 minutes to fully cure.
Remove the Tray: Pull the tray straight down to preserve the mold’s accuracy.
Repeat for Lower Tray: Follow the same steps for your lower teeth to complete the impression.

Important considerations:
Gloves: Always use disposable polyethylene plastic gloves instead of natural rubber gloves, as rubber can interfere with the curing process.
Curing Sensitivity: This product contains a platinum catalyst so avoid contact with sulphur, phosphorus, amines, acrylic acid and other chemicals as these may slow or stop the curing reaction.
Storage: Store in a cool place and refrigerate in hot weather to prevent premature curing.
Temperature effect: Curing time is affected by temperature – lower temperatures will slow it down while higher temperatures will speed it up. Adjust to room temperature and the warmth of your hands.
Mixing Ratios: Use the recommended ratio of base to catalyst. Unequal amounts can either delay or speed up curing, which will affect the quality of your impression.
